FORMALISM PHOTOGRAPHY
This series of photographs explores formalism through a collection of constructed still life images, using objects sourced from my home and arranged in a studio setting. Each object has been carefully selected and positioned to highlight the unique patterns, textures, and forms that emerge when observed in isolation.
The photographs do not seek to tell a narrative or convey a specific emotion but instead serve as studies in form and design, celebrating the beauty in the simplicity of structure and composition. This approach allows the objects to engage with the fundamentals of visual elements, making each piece a quiet exploration of balance, rhythm, and harmony in everyday objects, transformed through the lens of formalism.
In this series, each object becomes a celebration of form, freed from distraction and narrative to rejoice in its structural beauty.
