yuko tatsushima
The
publication and epub chronicle the artworks and the persona
of artist Yuko Tatsushima. Yuko’s paintings along with the
mysterious and eerie aura of both the artist and the art
created by the artist stirred me up.
I had never
quite come across a body of work more evocative than Yuko’s
and therefore decided to create a publication focused on her
motive to speak out against female objectification and
sexual harassment through her art.
The gradient map feature in Adobe Photoshop was employed to color grade all images, ensuring a cohesive visual palette throughout the publication. A vibrant red was applied to emphasize the critical nature of the issue of sexual harassment, effectively drawing attention to its urgency.
This creative project aims to boldly amplify Yuko's message, highlighting her efforts and bringing them to the forefront of public attention.
